Day 13 and 14 Inverness and Speyside
Day 13 and 14 Inverness
When: 3 and 4 August
Where: Inverness, Speyside, Loch Ness
Weather: partly cloudy, a shower or two, very windy, rather pleasant
What: Whisky touring
Who: just us
Workout: 20 min walk. Super friendly staff and a decent facility
Walking: 7.92, 9.52 km. All around Inverness.
Wine: still mainly sauvignon blanc.
Whine: Brent: "Dan, don't get so f***ing cocky" after I said, while negotiating my 100th roundabout "I think I'd be okay driving this with a stick".
Honourable mention: Megan staying at some cabin 2 hours north of Inverness:
Whisky: Glen Moray and Benromach. Super nice facilities and staff. The Whisky makes me gag (Brent loves it).
Wtf: we had to buy another suitcase!
Wild: All the partiers on the streets at 2 am (keeping us awake).
Wildlife: ducks. The odd seagull. A sheep or two.
Water: Loch Ness. Reminds me very much of the Okanagan. Very pretty!
Wonderful: On 3 August 2022 in Inverness Scotland, (via MS Teams to Vancouver) Brent became a British citizen!
